Dear AVIRA User,
We would like to announce you that AVIRA Webmin Remote Panel v 1.3
has been released. Download this new version and benefit from the
updated configuration parameters in AVIRA security products.
* Enhancements
- In case the configuration file of a product is missing, when
accessing the product page, the user receives a warning and is asked
to change the module's configuration;
- Minor issues regarding parameters were fixed;
- WebGate config has been updated, to include AllowHTTPSTunnel,
BlockExtensions, AllowClientAddresses and AllowDestinationPorts.
NOTE: AVIRA Webmin Remote Panel v 1.3 is designed to support the most
recent versions of AVIRA products. You can download the current
product kits from our website: www.avira.com/en/downloads.
* Known issues:
- The parameters License (AVIRA Engine), IncludePath and
ExcludePath (AVIRA Server/Desktop) are placed at the bottom of their
configuration files (avira.conf and aiguard.conf, respectively).
- AVIRA Webmin Remote Panel cannot currently manage non-standard
installations of AVIRA products located outside /usr/lib/AVIRA. If
you plan to use AVIRA Webmin Remote Panel, please follow the standard
procedure and install AVIRA products in /usr/lib/AVIRA.
- On distributions that install custom modules in other path than the
Webmin's path (i.e. Debian unstable), the AVIRA Remote Panel
configuration file is not copyed in the right directory. This is a
Webmin bug and you can track this issue visiting:

As a workaround you can copy the configuration file for your
distribution, from AVIRA Remote Panel's kit to
/etc/webmin/avira/config
